Project Description

I often think about the daily exposure that people have to pixels. For example, most of us heavily use our smartphones and touchscreen devices. We develop close relationships with our electronic devices. I tend to imagine that people feel love for their pixel based devices and in return, pixels feel love for people.
In the digital world pixels are stable and do not change over time; they are not weak. This is true even when they are used to depict fragile things such as emotions.
In this work the pixels are shown as being weak by expressing one of the most fragile things in this world: love.
Moreover, in order to see the word LOVE the person interacting with the application needs to touch the screen without intermission. Also, the more people touch the screen, the more vivid the image becomes.
